The route is demanding and requires you to be very fit due to macadam roads, numerous uphill parts and steep downhill tracks. However, the breath-taking views from the spots it connects are worth the adventure. All spots offer views of the open sea and numerous islands surrounding the island of Murter, including the Kornatiarchipelago, and the mountain massif of Velebit, Svilaja and Dinara on the mainland side. Unforgettable!
The route starts in the centre of Murter and follows the main road to the first viewing spot near the St. Michael’s Church, it then goes through StaroSelo to the viewing spot near St. Rocco’s chapel. Then it goes downhill to the junction to Čigrađa cove and uphill to the viewing spot of Raduč, the highest peak of the island. Going back, there is a short climb to the main road and turning to the macadam path towards the top of Brdo and another magical viewing spot. Steep downhill track to Kosirina cove and campsite, followed by the uphill track to the main road and another downhill one to Lovišće and the viewing spot overlooking Tisno and Pirovac.
