One of the most beautiful routes for the lovers of nature and genuine Dalmatia. The route takes you through the stone lace of drystone walls, small stone shelters (known as “bunja”), olive groves and fields and evokes admiration in respect of people who have been using pieces of land, never endangering the fragile natural balance. All along the way you are immersed in the fantastic smell of hundreds of medicinal plants.
It starts in the centre of Jezera, goes to Lokva and on the branch road to Podjasenovac cove. It turns left uphill to St. Rocco’s chapel (a branch road to Koromašna cove). Then straight to the Jezero well (a branch road to St. Nicolas – Murtar cove). It goes uphill through the fields to the viewing spot of Pudarica, a stone building from the Illyrian period. The trail continues downhill along the olive groves to the crossroads to the Kamenčina, Gušćica and Vrtiluka coves or on the road to Jezera.
