This route connects some of the most significant Croatian historical sights and most beautiful sceneries.
The start is at the central square of A. Starčević towards the village of Kovačić and the Krčić waterfall, hiding the spring of the Krka river. Pay attention to the monument dedicated to King Zvonimir and the river of Orašnica, one of the seven rivers flowing through the Knin area on your way there. After the marvellous waterfall of the Krčić river, you climb to Napoleon road and ride on 10 km long macadam road through the Krčić canyon enjoying the view of Dinara and the highest Croatian peak – Sinjal, 1831m. At Krčić, be sure to visit some of the old mills and enjoy clear water, rapids and waterfalls of this Karst beauty. Continue on the macadam road towards Cetina and its unique spring. Be sure not to miss the old Croatian church of Holy Salvation, the best preserved 9th century church. On your way back, you pass Kijevo, a settlement founded in the Illyrian period. On the 37th kilometre of the route you get on the samepath towards Knin.
